ABOUT:

Southern Jeeps is a family-oriented club for Jeep enthusiasts located in North Georgia. We have a meeting and official club ride each month with special events such as Project Days, Trail Cleanups, Camping/Cookouts and other family activities scheduled throughout the year. We believe in safe, responsible four wheeling.

MEMBERSHIP:

Membership is open to all owners of Jeep vehicles (CJ, Wrangler YJ & TJ, Cherokee, Comanche, J Truck, Grand Cherokee, etc.) with four-wheel drive. You must be at least 18 years of age and meet vehicle requirements. SJ Club membership is based on the calendar year.

Prospective Member Information
Prospective members are required to attend 2 meetings and 2 club rides within 90 days before submitting an application for membership. You must attend at least one meeting before attending a ride. You may attend as many meetings as you wish as a non-member, but you will be limited to 2 club rides. Dues are for new members are $70.00 and include a Southern Jeeps hat and membership packet

New member applications are accepted between November 1 - December 31 (for next calendar year) and January 1 - June 30. If you join during the November-December period you will receive a membership in UFWDA and SFWDA. Members accepted during January-June will receive membership in SFWDA only.

Membership requirements can be fulfilled at any time during the year and will carry over to the next year if necessary. Once the requirements are met, you can submit your application and payment (Check only, no cash) at a regular meeting or online using PayPal. Member applications are NOT accepted at club rides or special events.

Membership Renewal
Member renewals are $59 and are due between November 1 and December 31. After December 31st, you must sign up as a new member. Renewal applications and payment will be accepted at regular meetings or online using PayPal. You must renew before December 31 to receive your UFWDA membership. Late renewals only receive the SFWDA membership. Member renewals are NOT accepted at club rides or special events.

Where does the money go?
Part of the membership and renewal fees goes to SFWDA and UFWDA. The rest is used for club expenses and activities.
