ABOUT:
Boonie Riders 4WD Club, Inc. is a Four Wheel Drive Club centered around the Tell City, Indiana area. We enjoy club trail rides, camping, and other family oriented events. We are involved in public service activities, and we participate in area parades and car shows. The club is a member of the United and Indiana Four Wheel Drive Associations. We participate in and support their events as often as possible. We are always looking for new members with new ideas.
The club holds meetings on the second weekend of each month at various club members' homes. If you wish to join, you are more than welcome to attend a meeting and see what it's all about.
We are open to owners of four-wheel drive vehicles who are at least 18 years of age, have a valid drivers license and proof of insurance, and live in Southern Indiana, Northern Kentucky, or South East Illinois.
Boonie Riders 4WD Club, Inc. was founded in Indiana in 1998 by a group of friends who shared a common goal, and the realization that no such club existed in their area. It is a non-profit organization based in Tell City, Indiana for four-wheel drive enthusiasts. Boonie Riders promotes interest in the ownership and safe and proper use of off-road vehicles. The club provides recreational, educational, and social activities for its membership. They also help protect and enjoy our natural resources and support the Multiple Use Principal, and Tread Lightly programs, along with working to keep public lands open for public use.
Boonie Riders is primarily a trailriding club, but other interests such as truck shows, and different types of racing are also encouraged. A bi-monthly newsletter is published to keep members informed of upcoming events and club happenings. The club holds several off highway events per year around southern Indiana, and also has an annual trip to Land Between the Lakes, in Kentucky. There is an annual summer picnic and also a Christmas party.
