ABOUT:

Iron Horse 4X4's, Inc., is a registered nonprofit organization. Our diverse membership consists of people interested in four wheel drive vehicles and the safe and responsible use of those vehicles both on and off the road. We belong to, and endorse the principles of, "Tread Lightly," "United Four Wheel Drive," "Indiana Four Wheel Drive Association," and "The Blue Ribbon Coalition." Our Organization has participated in numerous fund raisers for charities and taken part in local community service work. The membership prides itself in helping others and working together. By doing this, we have made significant contributions to many local communities, charities, organizations and individuals. Here is a list of some of the things we are or have been involved in. We sponsored and organized a "Walk-a-thon" for a fund raiser for March of Dimes.

We organized and held five mud bogs for March of Dimes fund raisers. Iron Horse ran, operated and manned the phone banks for two Muscular Dystrophy Telethons. We organized and held a mud drag fund raiser for Disabled Veterans. Iron Horse performed search and rescue with "INCERT" (Indiana Council Of Emergency Response Teams) We assisted in building an I.H. Scout for the Indiana State Police as a emergency rescue vehicle. We organized and held a mud bog fund raiser for The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Thirty-four members have taken several classes to become Red Cross Disaster Relief and Red Cross Disaster Assessment certified. The Red Cross used Iron Horse to evacuate stranded flood victims and to bring in and take out emergency teams. The Red Cross used Iron Horse to tow Paramedics to their calls during a snow storm that left everybody stranded. Also we towed police and fire departments when they became stuck during this same snow storm.

Tell them how you found them
If you register on a Club's website, please tell them that you found them through JeepClubs.org.  Many clubs take the time to submit information to us and this is a good way for them to see that the effort they are putting forth is working and will give them a chance to add more information to their club's information page if needed.
