ABOUT:

Formed on January 1st 2009, the Green Mountain Crawlers is the newest off-road club in Vermont. Geared towards both the neophyte off-roader and the expert alike, the GMC strives to provide a safe, fun and educational community for 4x4 enthusists from across the north country. While our logo implies that we are a Jeep club any 4x4 is welcome. Stock through highly modified, all responsible 4x4 drivers are welcome here.

GMC is an organization that promotes off-highway vehicle oriented outdoor recreation for all off-roading enthusiasts. Bi-monthly trips of varying levels of length and difficulty are planned for all members. Our activies are geared towards education and community building and during the winter months when trails are typically closed down, you will find us working on public education, fund raisers and the like.

MEMBERSHIP:

The Green Mountain Crawlers off-road club does not require a paid membership to join, nor does it require a paid membership to join us on trail rides!

With today's economy sometimes even shelling out a few bucks to join a club can be a strain on family budgets. With that in mind, GMC has decided to forgo club dues at that time. We feel that the money spent on club dues could be better spent on your family or on your rig and that instead of dues we would establish a "work in kind" method of dues payment.

What does "work in kind" mean? Simply put we hope that members who come out for an event will go a step farther than most to help with clean-up, charity events and will be more willing than others to help a fellow club member in need.

While GMC has not established any dues at this time, occasionally there may be instances where there may be a monetary requirement to participate in an event or outing. These fees would be used to cover the costs associated with the event (land rental, catering etc) and no profit shall be made by GMC. Should any profit be made, all monies will immediatly be donated to a wounded veteran's project like Wheeler's for the Wounded.

Tell them how you found them
If you register on a Club's website, please tell them that you found them through JeepClubs.org.  Many clubs take the time to submit information to us and this is a good way for them to see that the effort they are putting forth is working and will give them a chance to add more information to their club's information page if needed.
