ABOUT:
We are the Vermont Jeep Association. Formed in 2001, we have a strong membership of many families from every corner of the state, and a few from outside the state too. Our name indicates that we are a Jeep club, but we accept all vehicles. We are a family-oriented, environmentally responsible club that enjoys trail rides, picnics, parades and a variety of other events. Our trail rides are primarily within Vermont's borders on both public land (such as class 4 roads) and private land. We work at promoting family interest in four-wheel recreation, enjoying our country's natural resources, as well as participating in community activities and promoting community interest in the sport of four-wheeling.
Club meetings are held once a month to discuss upcoming events and swap stories about events gone by. Meetings are currently scheduled on the third Friday of the month January - November. Trail rides are typically held on the following Saturday.
The members of the club are like a big happy family, welcoming new members cheerfully. Children are a part of every activity and ride, securely fastened in, of course. We strive to model safe, responsible four-wheel recreation so that our children will follow suit and carry on this wonderful activity for many generations to come.
MEMBERSHIP:
Anyone with an interest in four wheel recreation is eligible for membership. No modifications are required for membership. We have many members with stock or near stock vehicles.
Annual dues are $40 per family and include a Vermont Jeep Association window decal / bumper sticker and a subscription to Mountain Wheeling, the Club's monthly newsletter.
To become a full-fledged member you must attend one meeting and you must pay your first yearly dues. Dues are renewed each January. For information on joining, please feel free to read over our bylaws and stop by one of our monthly meetings.
