Spokane 4 Wheelers

LOCATION:

Spokane, Washington

ABOUT:

Spokane 4 Wheelers was formed in 1970 by a group of people who were interested in the many faces of 4 wheeling and community service.  Club membership exceeded 35 members at its peak.  In addition to 4 wheeling, members participated in The Lilac Festival and St Patrick’s Day Parades using their rigs to escort the Lilac Princess and assist with the floats in the parades.  Many members enjoyed racing and traveling to nearby towns such as Deer Park, Burke and Moses Lake with their families.

Continuing its 38 year tradition, the club focuses on 4 wheeling, family and community.  Members make up a diverse group including new parents and their children, grandparents and grandchildren, couples and singles.  Four wheeling activities include at least one club run per month and in the summer can include overnight camping.   Some members take advantage of larger events organized by other clubs and associations such as Cabin Fever in Idaho, Trail Jam in the Cascades, and Divide Ride in Montana.  The club has visited Moab and is considering future trips to the Rubicon and Alaska.

In addition to four wheeling, the club supports the Spokane community in several ways.  Members participate in the Guild School Penny Drive to help disabled children, “Adopt a Road” program in the Suncrest area, cleanup activities at the ORV Park located in Riverside State Park, and the Show and Shine and Cops for Kids car shows.  S4W believes that community matters, continuing the tradition from the club's inception.

Land matters and legislation are very important to our club.  We are lucky to have several members who attend meetings related to legislation and trail development in the state.  Use of public land is a priority for all who enjoy off road activities.

Tell them how you found them
If you register on a Club's website, please tell them that you found them through JeepClubs.org.  Many clubs take the time to submit information to us and this is a good way for them to see that the effort they are putting forth is working and will give them a chance to add more information to their club's information page if needed.
